Hiring a veteran is one of the best investments a business can make. Veterans have the skills that Upper Peninsula employers need including leadership, intelligence, and dedication. They also have demonstrated their abilities to perform under challenging conditions. Veterans come to the workforce highly adept with new technology, and are skilled and trained in a variety of areas.
These businesses and many more have observed the value in employing skilled veterans and will continue to prioritize veteran hires. The UPWARD Talent Council Michigan Works! supports all employers with finding skilled veteran talent.
